Once a student has completed their training program, they may go on to challenge a certification exam. While certification may not be required in ALL instances, employers tend to prefer Phlebotomy Technicians who have obtained certification.

Many phlebotomy programs can be completed in a matter of weeks, but this may vary from school to school. Once a student has completed their training program, they will also want to ensure they have met (or can meet) the requirements to pursue certification and challenge the applicable exam. Does this program offer an externship or internship?
While an externship/internship is not included in the Training Direct Phlebotomy Technician program, students will have the opportunity to practice the skills they are learning in a hands-on environment. In addition, we offer career services assistance to all program completers to help them as they pursue their newly chosen career, however, job placement is not guaranteed.
